The Feather has seen many Terminal/WS jumps, but this is the first visit to land of vertical bliss. Exceeding expectations with low volume and weight, ease of packing, consistent flight performance and 'feather-soft' landings--the Feather is reinforcing its' dependable and reliable characteristics. Our long time associate, Shane Dunn, will have it flying from every available perch and also at the World BASE Race (13-15th Aug 2009) Either look to the sky or find him charging towards an exit to get the latest updates.

In addition, we have reliable reports that a Feather was witnessed in flight off a well-known NorthWest US Terminal/WS cliff. Once again, all the attributes that make the Feather in high demand presented in perfect harmony with the condidtions and object.

Weekend at Twin
Friday, 3 July 2009 15:35, by Asylum

Another epic weekend at Twin Falls!! 300+ jumps in three days. With choice weather conditions, members of Team ILL VISION, Asylum Designs, First jump students, Team Splatula and many others were in attendance to create the perfect setting for good times and great jumps. All sizes of the Seven were jumped, including ZP options and the Feather was jumped both slider up and slider down! The deep brake approaches with minimal flare(or none) were constantly impressive.

Seven- a new canopy available now from Asylum Designs.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 15:01, by Asylum

The Seven and Feather are a result of over 10 years of R/D and testing from the broad base of Asylum Designs' team members. It was decided long ago that a canopy needed to be manufactured to the highest standards, have consistent openings at all deployment speeds, stable in-flight performance and effective/responsive deep brake landing characteristics. Our focus was to create a stonger connection between canopy and pilot - a tool that would provide the versatility and dependabilility required for all types of BASE jumpers and environments.
